Moratorium order shocks NM oil industry
Albuquerque Journal ^ | 1/23/21 | Stephen Hamway,Ryan Boetel,Dan Boyd

The federal government’s 60-day suspension of new oil and gas leasing and drilling permits on public lands sent shockwaves through the industry in New Mexico and divided industry experts over potential impacts.

“It’s very much putting politics above science,” said Ryan Flynn, president and CEO of the New Mexico Oil and Gas Association.

Members of the oil and gas industry and economic experts are weighing the potential impact of the federal government’s 60-day suspension of new ail and gas leasing and drilling permits on public lands. (Jim Thompson/Albuquerque Journal) Acting Secretary of Interior Scott de la Vega on Wednesday ordered a 60-day moratorium on new leases, drilling permits or other contracts needed to extract fossil fuels on federal lands, both onshore and offshore. The rule doesn’t affect existing permits.

Flynn said he was “disappointed” by the order after it was announced Thursday. He said he doesn’t believe the suspension would help reduce emissions, and that the order interrupts the development of infrastructure that connects new and existing wells to pipelines, forcing operators to flare methane emissions rather than recovering them.

But did the fake news media, where Democrats get all of their news, ever report that that’s what he was going to do?

You don't, Trump could very well have won NM too.

And New York!

“ N.M. Biden 54.29% Trump 43.50% Suck it, New Mexico. You broke it, you won it.”

Need to take a look at NM demographics and there will be your answer as biden lines up a few new caravans of backup voters on the NM/MX border. What's surprising is the 43.5% Trump voters even with the dominion machine cheating. NM hispanic 48% of the state are lumped in with the gringo/white total of 75% reported that way so the white minority of 27% doesn't look so bad. The next election if they get rid of the dirty chicom machines might just chew up that 9% difference between blue/red. Would be nice if it did. This last elections totals show that the hispanic voters voted red in much larger numbers than usual.

Actually I would not be surprised if Trump had won NM on Nov 3.

The silver lining is that the economic recession created by these energy policies will come on fast & hard. And a lot of the middle-of-the-road dummies that fell for Orange Man Bad are going to wake up by the midterm elections. Biden has 2 years, max.

In prior elections (I was here for the 2008, 2012, 2016, and 2020 elections), Dem presidential candidate signs were everywhere for the presidential candidate. I can count on one hand how many yards signs I saw for Biden in my area. Far more for Trump. Yeah. I'm calling shenanigans. That being said, NM at the state level lurched further left. So, maybe not. I thought they'd learn from going full retard in 2018, but nope, they went full retard and neo maxi zoom deeebie.

“It would be interesting to read the comments from ABQ residents.”

So many places have eliminated comments. You are only allowed to read the author of the article. Effectively, one comment, the authors.

As far as I know, the Dems didn’t ‘target’ New Mexico (meaning they didn’t set up their ‘apparatus’ there), and thus the Dems likely won New Mexico clean.

And so New Mexico is getting just what they voted for.

And PA, MI and WI are all going to be in the same boat.

Their industry and residents are just as dependent on oil and heavy manufacturing.

“Totally bull shit false premise to base anything on. It’s insanity.”

And as long as we continue to think they’re insane, they will continue to destroy us.

We have to face up to just what happened - we were OUTSMARTED in numerous ways, with the last one being the False Flag in DC now being used to make our side ‘disappear’ in the political world.

“I have had people explain to me that the democrats wouldn’t dare try to implement what they ran on.”

Ask these geniuses if the Democrats’ extremist political tactics over the last four plus years seem to indicate that their strategic goals are moderate? Seems to me that they declared war on their political opponents on election night 2016, won a major climactic battle election nite 2017, and are now in the process of shooting wounded small businesses and rounding up POW’s via COVID lockdowns.

“I do wonder if the Biden Regime really wants to fight for oil or this is just more of their endless wars and desire to get Assad out.”

Hopefully Biden works with Russia if he wants Assad out. Otherwise, sadly, our boys will be coming home in body bags, and if we don’t accept that, our cities will experience FAR WORSE consequences.

Without Trump, our threats are meaningless.
