That's when I quit watching network sitcoms. I sat down with my beautiful little girl to watch Seinfeld and my favorite sitcoms. The "plot" that night was masturbation. I was so mortified. She was so young she didn't seem to get what they were talking about.
So, we switched to Nickelodeon and started playing dvd's of 60's and 70's sitcoms like Dick Van Dyke, Mary Tyler Moore, Andy Griffith, even Hogan's Heroes, which all hold up surprisingly well. IMHO, young children should not be exposed to the swill that seems to populate most network programing. Makes me think of Red Skelton, one of the funniest comedians ever who never used swear words or potty humor.
Master of my own domain!
I was on the floor laughing when Kramer came in, threw his money down, and said he was out.
But seriously, I wouldn’t have wanted to watch that with my young daughter, either.
