Reforming the GOP, as opposed to starting over with something new, would seem more plausible if that group didn’t have a track record of sucking for thirty years.

GOP can't be reformed.

Sometimes in life at work or at home you run into projects that are death marches and it is better to scrap them and start over. Since Ronald Reagan the GOP has been warned time and time again, always resulting in unfulfilled promises. Insanity is doing the same thing and expecting different results.

The GOP must be scrapped completely, put to sleep like an old dying dog.
