Each case like Florida case had government officials break their state constitution by ruling or changing rules when they did NOT have the authority according to their state’s constitution

Six of the nine justices were involved in that decision. Thomas, Alito and Breyer were on the court at the time. The other three were on the Bush legal team.: Chief Justice Roberts, Kavanaugh and Barrett Not involved was Kagen, Sotomyer and Gorsuch.
