I can certainly understand that; have a bit of it myself. As to the GOP party, I’m taking a ‘wait and see but I ain’t believing it yet’ attitude. You have to PROVE it to me now, GOP!
My thinking (which admittedly tends to be faulty) is this: the local Wyoming GOP has shown the way with voting to censure Cheney, so maybe other local GOP have taken note and will grow a spine? The local pols are a lot closer to we the people.
It’s too late to undo the past, for sure, but maybe this is what can be used to remind the GOP in Congress and the state houses that THEY work for US.
I reregistered as unaffiliated when Mitch threw President Trump under the bus. I’m done with them. They cozy up to us two years before the election, because they want our support and money. They don’t care about us! The republican party is just as corrupt as the democrat. There are a few great exceptions-Jim Jordan, Matt Gaetz, Josh Hawley etc...
