Now.....not so much because Covid and the urgency of defeating Trump makes whatever they want to do legal, and of course, let's not forget....no one has standing to protest in the courts. And of course the executive branch doesn't have to do anything because, after all, that's the court's job.

The executive branch DOJ and FBI refused to do anything, because they refused to see anything. Sidney Powell, Gen. Flynn and some others pushed Trump to invoke the Insurrection Act. Powell wanted him to use U.S. Marshalls to seize the ballots and machines. Trump would then have had the evidence, but would have been falsely accused in the media of imposing martial law. Big Tech would have then shut Trump down on social media even faster than they did. Trump always worries about his image, and puts PR first, and it cost him. He probably didn't believe that his party would surrender the way they did, both in D.C. and the various Republican controlled legislatures that failed to act.
