When something like AG Barr refused to prosecute Comey and McCabe on a crime and the excuse given is...he's going after bigger fish. You have to say that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. And challenge your own beliefs. Everyone knows you prosecute on small crimes and squeeze. That's when I knew Barr was no good--why didn't the Q Trust the plan believers realize it then?
And why do they still believe Q? Heck some people still believed Trump was still going to do something amazing and still be President today!
Other than a few posters on Free Republic, I’ve never met or had a conversation with anyone who was a follower of Q.
The fact that the MSM made such a big deal about the Q supporters tells me that Q was either set up by the deep state traitors around Trump, or that it was just a Harmless fringe group that the MSM decided to morph into a political boogeyman.
When they went the way of “Trust Sessions” they lost any credibility they had.
I notice we still have the Q Anon threads here. I checked them out a couple of times and it seemed like a harmless bunch of conservatives that were hanging on to the hope that DJT was going to destroy the deep state and save America. Whether or not Q was a CIA plant or not is probably just another rabbit hole.
If Q ever had any credibility, it was destroyed at 12 noon today. The deep state is more powerful than ever. If Q was real, then he’s a real loser.
I don’t think Q people should be censored here on FR, but if there is going to be a movement to drain the swamp, Q is not going to be leading the way.

What's coming more and more into focus is how the GOPe undermined this President every step of the way so they could return to complete minority status they've craved since Reagan spoiled their party literally and figuratively. As such, I saw things unfold as foretold, more or less, with Q pointing out the corruption and crime hidden behind the facades we see on TV.
I don’t watch TV anymore because of those facades and was already looking for what Q and the Anons were pointing to.
It’s been a unique window into a war, with many behind the camera views to how the political sausage is made here and elsewhere, as we have also watched a determined enemy fight back from all sides, including and especially from within.
To me, Q was the watchman on the wall pointing to the dangers around us, trying to cast out the demons within US, but now I’m supposed to believe that Q is really CIA?
Doesn’t work for me, because Matthew 12:26 says: “If Satan drives out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then can his kingdom stand?”
Q warned us, and I saw the efforts to drive out the enemies within, but they are well positioned and “sometimes the bear gets you.”

I think you’re way over stating what Q was & still is.
In may opinion a way too complex an explanation. (I acknowledge it’s possible you’re right!) Apply Occam’s Razor it becomes harder to make the case !
It was a LARP that became a grift.
It was utterly implausible in its explained origin from the very beginning. It’s origin, explanation of “Who Q”, “Why Q”, “Where Q” and “ Q sourcing” changed over time as it was challenged & particularly when it failed to produce. (Hillary arrested, Huma arrested, Trust Sessions {He was like Arthur sleeping on the Isle of Avalon !}, Huber has 60,00 indictments .. I could go on!, etc.) All typical behaviors of fraud. It took advantage of peoples desire to participate and help the Trump revolution by manipulating their confirmation bias. Goal was to gain enough of a following to generate hits at web sites to create a revenue flow. Make a market for Q paraphernalia. (Saw it at rallies!)
Did it hurt Trump in the re-election run? Maybe but I don’t think by much. Did it encourage the fantasy prone Q-sters to go and participate in the recent Capital Hill PR debacle. Again maybe? I think the trouble was primarily due to ANTIFA infiltrators.
The Q phenomenon reaffirms the idea that the Internet is full of a nonsense even nonsense you may well like and agree with, That’s when you need to be particularly on your guard !

Q reminds me of another Q from 20-25 years ago. A couple of friends of mine got caught up in this online “gifting”club and from there to a group of people who believed an anonymous donor called Q was going to give millions of dollars to people belonging to this Q group. They invited me- I went to some secret conference calls and a secret online chat room. I said no thanks- this is nuts, likely illegal and creepy. There was no talking to them- true believers all. It scared me. They were otherwise sensible, normal, employed and apparently sane. The rules changed, timing of the money “drop” changed. Breathlessly waiting for new and more absurd updates. Big gov involved- gold mines. No matter what- they believed. It went on for years. Then 9/11 happened and I stopped caring about Q. Lots of similarities with this- different hook.
Q was in George Orwell’s novel, 1984, only Q was called The Brotherhood.
Because it gave them hope of a save.
