There is a move known as “castling”. It is the only move in chess in which two pieces move at once. Both the King and a rook are involved and both must be in their original positions on the board. The king moves 3 spaces (I think, don’t have a board in front of me) toward the edge of the board toward the rook, the rooks moves to the first space on the other side of the King. The spaces between the two pieces must be empty also.
