How long is he NG going to stay in DC for the NON even that happened? This was way over kill and then if the swearing in of 200 for Marshals ?

DH said he heard that the NG leaves DC tomorrow morning. ANd it’s 2000 NG deputized as Federal Marshals, and at least that many cops similarly deputized.

The troop build up was for optics.
The optics of furthering the propaganda that Trump conservatives, Christians, gun owners, and Patriots are dangerous terrorists. That the government, including Trump, had to order the troops in to stop an insurrection.
We know this is a lie, but it will become a constant mantra for years to come.
They will use the 6th and the above to stop us from assembling and free speech.
