Where did that clip come from and are we sure that was filmed from inside the motorcade? I’ve worked presidential security details for every POTUS from Clinton to Trump and we were always instructed to face away from the motorcade. Frankly I’m surprised so many were facing towards it (even though there was no crowd to observe).

I wouldn’t read much into that. They are there for security so they must face outward to spot threats.
