Agreed but not relevant. The claim was that betting pools aren’t paying off until March.
No one knows what illegal bookies are doing, they are just individuals. They can pay off whenever they like, they have no skin in the game. They take a house cut and set odds to balance bets out so they break even on the betting and make money on their house cut.
Bookies never lose, they don’t bet, just like a casino never bets. They set the odds to where they WILL win over time.
The original claim was that bookies aren’t paying until March. It is completely unsubstantiated.
