I thought Laura Ingraham said that they were going to take down the barricades and fencing and sell it all on eBay the day after Jan. 20. I don’t know if she was sarcastic or what since I only read about it and didn’t hear it to detect her tone.
There’s this YT video that’s titled, “Day After Inauguration - National Guard troops continue arriving to DC”.
Why would we need more troops after? Who is calling for more troops?

Why did we need them in the first place - especially that many? Nothing happened!
The rulers might say that nothing happened because there were troops there; not provable.
It reminds me of the mythical town in Arkansas that was afraid that some time they might be overrun by elephants. They hired a thousand hunters to watch every entrance and all the streets 24 hours a day 7 days a week. After a year they had a meeting to see if the expenditure for all those hunters was worth it. They determined that since no elephants had been seen in that yearly period the program must be a huge success. :^)
