Heh. I should think any of those soldier who were bitching about having to sleep on the cafeteria floor just got a lesson in how things can always get worse.

As a vet, I too have slept on cafeteria floors. It can be nice to have shelter like that. I have also slept standing up, horizontal is cushy... But bitching in the military is an artform.

Although, it grates on Americans that America provides no more than desert and mountain treatment for Our Own and Finest, that’s for sure. NOT while guarding our elitist Treasonists who caused this call up, by their treasonous actions.
I had an ancestor who slept upright in a fox hole for months as they went up from N Africa and through Italy in WW2. He got through it but he was very slim by the time they got up near Germany.
