Sounds about right.
But since the other side is afraid of bullets, we can use that to our advantage and push for a peaceful divorce, divide up the territories.
Then every time there’s supposed to be a census, for 4 or 5 decades, you hold a referendum in every county in both countries... which country you want to be in. Once the borders settle, then there is the remaining issue of enclave countries surrounded by another country.
We already have enclave countries: Soveriegn indian Nations on reservations. Plus, we can let the World Court at the Hague decide the most momentus issues. No doubt they’ll find for the libtard previous Administrations but by then it will not make much difference.
