There was a SNL skit way back with that show was funny about tats. A young cutie gets a butterfly tramp stamp. Then they fast forward to when she is in her 60’s and the butterfly is now a vulture.
A guy I worked with had three women’s names on his arm with lines drawn through all of them. They were his three ex wives. His current wife would not allow him to tatoo her name on his arm.
I was going to put a tattoo to honor my ex wife and my stepsons, but I never did. Mrs D would hate it...I’m glad I didn’t get a tat...or a piercing...

For several years, I have been telling anyone who is just starting college that they need to look into learning how to do tattoo removal because it IS going to be a big thing!

There was a anti-tat “PSA” showing different tatted people saying “don’t do it!”
My fave: “when you turn thirty you will come to an important financial crossroads: get the minivan, or get laser tattoo removal”.
