Actually, I suspect he’d agree with you.
He was pretty open and honest in the semi-autobiographical movie about what a lost soul he became after his father died. It isn’t a flattering picture of him at all.
I thought it was a good movie with a genuine honesty that is unusual anywhere these days. He seems like a mess, but anyone who is willing to look inward at their own flaws like that isn’t all bad.
