Yikes! I just realized that my first post has resulted in a debate. I have several hundred CDs,most are CD-Rs but some are commercial. The CD-Rs contain individual songs obtained thanks to the library consortium to which I've had access for years. As I said in another post the music I enjoy is important enough to me that I want it in CD format...CDs being the source of the highest quality sound.
I know that's old fashioned...CDs are dying,as are DVDs and blurays. Younger kids would rather use Netflix and music streaming services.
But I'll never apologize for being old fashioned! ;-)

I think you should consider migrating away from CDR. Those degrade over time and become unreadable.

“CDs being the source of the highest quality sound.”
Wait till you hear higher quality!
CD’s are 44khz and 16 bit. 96 kHz 24 bit will knock your socks off with the right recording and equipment.
There are hd audio downloads sites that give free samples.
I am streaming Amazon HD.
