However, I need to find a good method to digitize thousands of cassettes, 78's, 45's and 33's in my collection. A Zoom audio recorder that records onto a memory card appears to be a good method.
And now, having gotten them on CD,I can play them on my stereo and convert individual tracks into MP3 format for my phone and my car's hard drive.
So I get the best sound quality at home (CD,SACD and DVD-Audio have the best sound quality) and great music on my phone and in my car.
I love music enough to have the attitude "if it's good enough to own I'll own it in its most faithful form".
I have the same attitude with videos...no streaming for me.I want Goodfellas (and many, many other films) on my shelf and in its most faithful format....meaning bluray and 4K.
But others may disagree.
“However, I need to find a good method to digitize thousands of cassettes, 78’s, 45’s and 33’s in my collection”
I picked up a record player to digitize my brothers albums. A cassette player can be input to the computer.
I gave all my old media away, copied my CD’S to disk and subscribed to Amazon HD.
