“It’s just the flu bro !”
It’s something different. Maybe biological warfare.
I’ve known a few people who got it and lost their senses of smell and taste for several days.
I’ve never heard of the flu doing that.
Non-medic here, but here is a layman’s guess: The virus spikes plug up the orifices necessary for the molecules of the substance to be smelled or tasted. Eventually you grow new cells with the correct orifices and your sense of taste & smell return or the plugs get expelled?
Where are the biology people? Seem as though a lot of “science” is asleep at the switch.
