How utterly inefficient to deploy 30,000 troops for “riot/protest control.”
That’s 60,000 MRE’s (meals) for food PER day, dozens of outhouses for restroom facilities, 1000’s of gallons of liquids, millions of bullets, etc.
More deployed than required to invade a country??!
This, versus maybe 1,000 highly trained high-elevation snipers, with automatic rifles, real and rubber bullets, tactical net launchers to launch nets, tear gas, etc.
10-15 helicopters on standby, a few fighter jets.
Include a warning that any intruders will be subjected to “shoot to kill” orders. Razor wire (as they have) fencing around the entire premises, even electrified wired, and every single person allowed in must be vetted.
The military CANNOT be there solely for riot/crowd control, period.

3 squares a day would be 90,000 MREs. An even more astonishing logistics figure than previously contemplated. Likewise matching hygiene and water needs would be necessary for an incredible number of troops.
The break down would be something on the order of front line cops (MP’s) and augmented skill sets like an 11 B MOS (infantry rifleman) comprising 10-20% of the front line forces, and 80-90% support and logistics in the rear with the beer.
There would be shifts set up (2-3 per 24 hours) and QRF (quick reaction force) teams at the ready.
The bosses are probably already reminding the troops that complacency is their number one enemy. And that pesky Constitution is probably gnawing on a few good men and women in uniform right about now.

It’s got to have something to do with the global take down and correction and some foreign power doesn’t plan on the correction.
