There were Antifa elements who went to fight in Syria. Most around the time they were about to take Raqqa, ISIS capital.

My friends there told me that Antifa was crazy. They were trained in the YPG/YPJ training camps, but when they actually met forces they were to fight with, the Kurds realized that ISIS was Nuts. They came equipped with John Faulk masks. As if war was a theater game. The SDF separated most of them from the real battles, for fear they would get some good people killed. I had conversations about this back then.

So. Don’t place too much confidence in the impact of Antifa on the Syrian War nor what Antifa learned from Kurds about being politically radical. (The N. Syrian Kurds are not what you think they are.)

You mean Antifa, not ISIS? Also, those were Guy Fawkes masks, not John Faulk.
