That’s like asking “did that hurt?” after kicking someone in the crotch.

There has never been, in my rather lengthy lifetime, more reason to be disillusioned with politics.

While acknowledging that not everyone on this forum is a fan (oftentimes neither am I), Glen Beck recently posted a commentary on The Blaze that summed it all up for me.

In a nutshell, he said he was fed up that the left and Democrats, time and time again, engage in corruption and illegality right before our eyes and NOTHING happens.

The Clinton Foundation, Benghazi, Obamagate, The Russian hoax, Burisma...and now a stolen election.

Everyone can see what’s happening to this once-great nation, and the response: crickets.

"We lost the fight in the universities and indeed through the entire educational establishment until postmodernism has leeched out into every environment and poisoned every political discourse."

I saw this new poison back in 1961 , along with marijuana and rampant homosexuality among "Radio and TV" majors.

In 1966, I attempted to get a "free" Doctorate of Education under the GI Bill. The programs offered by my alma mater were hopelessly contaminated.

Although getting "A's", I couldn't take what they were dishing out to my vacuous classmates. Until the election of 2020, I also failed to see how this insidious pollution of thought would ultimately effect this nation.

"We now listen to classical music throughout the house instead of constant news. It is much more peaceful."

Instead of news, tune in to the #6 conservative commentator on iHeart Radio/WMAL-FM.

Chris Plante lives in DC, and directs his clever ire against leftists and the MSM. Plante: "But I repeat myself".

"Where the left is after your rights". Chris' three hours precedes Rush's three hours--without changing stations..

It's Howie Carr at 3PM, for another four hours at WRKO.

My day becomes a full day of uplifting entertainment on one battery!

Politics is all about coercion and division of the spoils. For those of us who do not want to take by force what others have, politics is a purely defensive endeavor. Winning brings no prize; you merely get to keep what is naturally yours a bit longer. It’s easy to be disillusioned with politics; the Left runs the game that way to undermine your resolve to be free. To heck with withdrawing from the field — it’s time to fight harder.

We lost the fight in the universities and indeed through the entire educational establishment until postmodernism has leeched out into every environment and poisoned every political discourse.

The fight was lost BEFORE sending our treasure to university. If one subjected their children to gov't enducation in the primary and secondary school systems, then they will have recieved 12+ of socialist indoctrination.

In 1990 I decided to homeschool my children through the 12th grade. There is no other way to combat the indoctrination. Gov't education will not change. But we don't have to subject our children to it.

One can change in the crucible of life. In my 20's I overcame my indoctrination by becoming a Christian. But I had the benefit of being taught our nation's history during my time in gov't schooling. Americanist institutions like JBS, Heritage, et al. can provide training materials -- books and videos. Curricula today are systematically removing that foundation.

We are in the midst of a war principally between communist youth with their old communist handlers and declining old-guard patriots. It may be necessary to decimate a generation or two in order to correct. But correction is coming.

I am very grateful that President Trump got these people to throw off their masks. Life is too short to waste a moment of it with people who choose their own mental defects.

They're in the minority as evidenced by the level of cheating and how desperate they are to squelch any oppositional voice. They don't define my culture and I hope they continue to embrace their mental defects going forward so that I can know them by their actions and avoid them.

The difference is, before politics wasn’t really a big part of America, now it is EVERYTHING.

I owned a 74 GranTorino back in the 90s that was my favorite car.
I also feel like Clint in that movie sometimes. That came later though.

You have to give our politicians credit, even just to recognize the way they pulled off their deviousness. They spoon fed us the elephant (one bite at a time). In doing so, they normalized not being accountable to us and instead, imposing their will on us. The very idea that our tax dollars are sent all over the world would have sent our founders over the edge. It's modern day slavery. The taxation to merry old England set them off and instead now, it's not just England but everywhere it's just presented differently. An American child who has not yet been born is already in debt by the time he breathes his first breath. In what reality is that the land of the free?
