BOTH parents have to be US citizens to produce Presidential eligible offspring.
As long as Grandpa was not a citizen, none of his kids were not eligible to be NBC

I know that that is what you think, and you are certainly free to think so, and many no doubt agree with you, but has any court or judge actually stated that that is in fact the Constitutional definition of “natural-born citizen”? I ask, because I’ve never heard of such a ruling. Have you?

Article II,Section 1 ,Clause 5, Constitution...read it.

I have read it. Several times in fact. Nowhere is “natural-born citizen” defined and nowhere is the citizenship of a person’s parents mentioned. It has been debated, of course, but the consensus has been for a very long time, that “natural-born” means someone acquired citizenship at birth as opposed to being naturalized. This does not been that the consensus is right, but the burden of proof is really on those who hold that it is wrong.

I don’t claim to be a Constitutional scholar or expert, but I’m likely more familiar than most about the Constitution because I taught it as part of a state requirement for more than 25 years. My poor 7th graders had to go through every line of the Constitution and Amendments and what they mean. I do have a pretty good idea of what’s in there.
