I don’t think it failed. It was thwarted for a second term by the same elements that he defeated in 2016; mediacrats, Obama beurocratic holdovers, Soros’s money as well as extra legal voting as a result of covid 19. But, in my mind, the greatest challenge to a second term was his lack of a trysted political organization behind him. Much of his problems were due to not knowing who to listen to or trust.
