For one, the intrusions and accompanying violence were not the work of rank-and-file Trump loyalists.

If you look at the videos of the military activity in DC it appears more like an occupation than a security operation. Now I have heard that the private airfields within 50 miles of DC are shut down and Twitter video of cars leaving DC being stopped for ID. Now Joe has cancelled yet another inaugural rehearsal for Monday. This does not bode well for the commie cabal.
