The miracles of modern medicine. Statins to reduce cholesterol, inhalers for smokers to breathe better, CT scans and MRI, vaccines to prevent flu, shingles and Kung Flu...the list goes on and on.
I’m thinking that if all of us were thrown back in time to say 1821, before there were all these medicines and modern conveniences, half of us would be dead within a year.
