Guilfoyle is a Mercy High girl. Thats a San Francisco parochial girls high school. Closed now, unfortunately. Its the sort of place the Catholic lower middle class patronized, with the stereotypical checkered skirts and all. Which of course the girls had a reputation of pinning up when they went to the Stonestown mall across the street. Yes, the Catholic girl stereotype.
She is what she is because of where she’s from, an Irish contractors daughter who grew up in SF’s Mission district. Nearly all of these people are gone now, moved out of town mainly, sold out with the increase in property values. I miss them, even if their daughters tried to pretend they were wild.
