“The stock holders care in a big way.”

Boy, I would love to be a fly on the wall when the large stockholders (Goldman, JP Morgan, Chase, etc.) start calling. Not to mention the millions of small investors.

And if Zuckerberg and Dorsey proceeded on this without Board of Directors approval, I’d guess Mark and Jack have some real problems. The Boards have a fiduciary responsibility to the shareholders and they don’t want to hear from the shareholders (and their lawyers).

It’s going to be interesting, indeed.

Bingo. People seem to think these companies are about the CEO and that is not the case. They are Public companies and the Boards have a huge problem ahead.
