There’s a difference between “having a stash” and being a hoarder. Hoarders keep other people from having a stash.
If you’re a hoarder, you know it, no guessing.
So you only have a few hundreds rounds.
And people that had for-sight to have more are hoarders.
What is the correct number to have before one is considered in your mind not to be a hoarder.
It is nothing for a active shooter to fire 10’s of thousands of rounds a year in just practice.
Those that you want to kill and steal from might object to in a strong fashion.
They might even have better skills then some one that only had the fore-sight to only have a few hundred rounds.
I respectfully disagree.
People who complain about "hoarders" mostly seem to be those who were unwilling to build a private stockpile when ammo was easily and cheaply available two years ago.
I know several people who have over 100,000 rounds. They acquired the ammo when it was cheap and plentiful. Their acquisition only kept the factories pumping out ammo at high levels.
It did nothing to prevent other people from getting ammo.
