Ammo shelves have been nearly bare for months already.

Demand has far outstripped supply.

I recall reading backorders for ammo at some sites extend past the end of 2021.

The local gun store (who sells ammo at very fair prices when he has it) told me he does not expect supply to get back to normal until Summer 2022. He never mentioned any EO though. He blames demand, materials shortages and manufacturing. Ammo orders from LE get priority.

If you can afford it, you can still buy ammo online — for now.

As late as October of 2018, .22 LR ammunition was available for as low as 2.5 cents per round.

I advised people to stock up.

Gun and ammo sales are breaking records. There will be huge anti 2A push when the demonicrats feel empowered. There are more guns than there are people in this country. Think how many guns there in relation to how many politicians there are. It is hard to overcome them at the ballot box because of dominion.
