I understand that they are going for an adult audience. That kind of counts me out because of the graphic sex that they may want.
And doing so betrays Tolkien's memory. He would never want his work to be combined with that.

It is now out of the hands of the Tolkien estate, unfortunate. You’re right that it betray his memory and what he was trying to teach.
That’s why I won’t watch it, because those producing it are not deep Catholics.

Thats the point though. The left (and the devil) takes beautiful things and distorts and contorts them into ugly things.
They will certainly betray his memory. It is what they always do and it will not be on accident.
