Who the hell cares if Pence stalling for a little more time would have changed anything it probably wouldn’t have but it would have highlighted the cheating and not have Pence betraying Trump the way he did ...he could have gone out as a decent person trying his best to be loyal to Trump it would have been no skin off his nose

It’s why the founders determined that the states would decide, thru the Electoral Process exactly how the President was chosen. The second in command could never determine who the King was going to be.

Al Gore did it to himself in January 2001. He refused to hear or consider Democrat challenges in the joint session of Congress which certified Bush's victory over himself in an election in which he lost by a few hundred votes in FL. He turned away Maxine Waters and Jesse Jackson Jr, among others.
