Just a few made programs that were so addictive and easy to use that all the lemmings think FakeBook, twitsville and Amazon are the complete internet. 99% of everyone is frightened when a dos window is open.
To many younger people would freak out at the command line prompt C:/
I loved computers pre-Windows. Working in DOS was so much fun. When I see a C: prompt now I smile.
WordPerfect, Lotus, and Paradox in DOS were the best!
