Think from a short search, between 40-42% of Americans say they have a gun in the house. Not sure how many do not admit to it.

The Survey found US civilians alone account for 393 million (about 46%) of the worldwide total of civilian held firearms.

The 2nd is not about guns. It is about the well regulated militia. The citizen militia is what is essential for our freedoms. Guns are one tool.
It is about the citizens grouping up. Folks, I can’t say it often enough and you will be seeing it often.
