Sure sounds like it. Moved to Waterfox myself. Forked from but not hooked to Mozilla. And still uses Firefox addons like NoScript and Ghostery. Same familiar layout, controls and all.

Consider Opera for a browser. Built in VPN.

One point about waterfox,it s a heated debate in the community i guess. Waterfox apparent.y isn’t updated as quickly as FF? Some claim it is a security risk, others claim its not that big a deal?

I don’t know much about it so can’t comment beyond pointing that out. Perhaps it sjust fine, but i can attest that it works really well

You should try Comodo IceDragon.

It is similar to WaterFox by using the mozilla FireFox framework, but is heavy on security:
"IceDragon features privacy and performance enhancements
over the Firefox core browser as well as additional
features such as SiteInspector malware scanning, Comodo
Secure DNS and improved social media functionality."

I bounce between This and Brave (and Chromium when needed).

I have been using Brave for a couple of years now. Very happy. I went sour on Firefox when they kicked Brendan Eich out. If you ever needed proof Mozilla are bad guys, that was it. Then they added their Pocket think and started bugging you to log in. A privacy focused browser would not have any kind of login. What kind of feature is that for privacy?
