OMG! I LOVE The Far Side. I never pass a field of cows any more without wondering if they’re waiting for my car to go by before getting back up on their hind legs and resuming their conversations with each other. “Car!”
And one of my favourites is the wife standing behind her husband and both of them looking at a giant cockroach on its hind legs standing taller than both of them - “Step on it, Arnold! Step on it!” These two may not tickle everyone’s funny bones but there are just too many truly funny ones to list here.
I have 6 books of those things and they never fail to make me LOL. Time to dust a couple of them off and relieve a little of the building tension. What a great reminder!
