Describes “sovereign citizen” theories, which have no basis to them.

People have attempted to use those concepts in legal filings, and have never ultimately succeeded.

This movement has been going on since at least the mid nineties, and probably earlier.

Those sovereign citizens crack me up. There's plenty of youtube videos starring them. I watch them when I need cheering up.

I read a while ago that the “sovereign citizen” thing got started longer ago, sometime in the 1930s or thereabouts, and was invented. No substance to it.
