I’m going to add something that may seem a little odd to God’s armor. But, it is a factor - for me - in how to maintain the full peace of standing.
Matt 11:28-30, (red letters)
28) Come unto Me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29) take my yoke upon you, and learn of me, for I am meek and lowly in heart, and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30) For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
And this is meaningful to me because I equate His yoke with being in full armor and standing. We are not standing all by our lonesome. We are not even just standing with our brothers and sisters. We are standing fully yoked up with our Savior.
It gives me good rest and I awaken to continue the battle. Now I shared 4 cents.
