We have a very few photos of places they staged out of, always in the southern hemisphere, such as Capetown, Perth, Wake, Guam, Ascension Island (in the southern Atlantic), Rio, Buenos Aires and several islands in the Caribbean. He was totally uninterested in taking photos, so the cameras usually ended up getting broken or lost.
