Donald Trump Holds The Future of the Republican Party in his Hands
DB Update ^ | January 9,2021 | David Blackmon

Posted on 01/10/2021 3:50:34 PM PST by Hojczyk

I have never been in favor of blowing the whole thing up and starting over where the Republican Party is concerned. At similar junctures in the past, such as January 2009, it has always seemed to be that it would be more productive to work to reform the GOP from within. Given this current situation, and the near-universal disaffection of Trump voters from the GOP representatives they have sadly helped to elect, it is difficult to maintain that outlook any longer.

At best, the Republican Party has proven itself to be largely corrupt and hopelessly inept over the past four years. At worst, its elected representatives have demonstrated that, by and large, they have nothing but contempt for the people who elected them, as most recently demonstrated by their refusal to do anything to rein in the abuses of the Big Tech monopolies.

Donald Trump had 88 million followers to his now-banned Twitter account. Should he choose to do so, he has the ability to now lead much of this loyal base of support completely away from the Republican Party and establish a political party of his own. Given that Trump has no more use for the GOP’s elected officials than his supporters do, it seems unarguably true that the Republican Party’s continued existence as a national force in American politics stands on thinner ice than it ever has in the past.

It couldn’t happen to a more deserving bunch of people.

Much easier to take over the GOP.

Look at all the retirements in 2018 of RINOs, I think we’ll see even more retire, which will create the opening for a complete MAGA takeover of the GOP.

I say we all flip our registration to Democrat. It would be harder for them to come after us, certain laws would no longer apply to us, and we could inject sanity in to the party.

The Republican establishment hates us Deplorables as much or more than the Dems. It must be destroyed utterly and without mercy.

If you are reading this, President Trump, please know we love you and are behind you and in front of you,

We got your back.

Just ask. We love you and your family.

We ARE the majority. Do not be afraid and never doubt.

We. Love. You.

That's certainly one of many different strategies we can take, it will require people to be good actors, and sometimes say things they won't want to. But on the other hand, they've been infiltrating our ranks for years.

Trump beat Hillary. Trump has been the best president in my lifetime. Better than Regan. Trump has fought people within his administration, the deep state, his own party, the fake media. They never beat him. They couldn’t, despite their nonstop efforts. So they stole the presidency from him because deep down that’s what the left is: cheaters.

"Much easier to take over the GOP."

Sure it is. It will be different this time because the GOP leadership really means it this time! Delusional.

You are like a whore that thinks her pimp loves her. Pathetic.

Whenever we the people nominate non-establishment candidates the GOP colludes with Democrats to elect Democrats.

Trump was far from the first, they have done it repeatedly in Senate races in MS, IN, DE, NV, AL, MO.

If Trump could not take over the GOP, it can’t be done.

I have a tendency to agree with this sentiment.

I have said already that the GOP is dead... no coming back.. period.

However, If Trump says he’s remaining and wants to purge it of RINOS.... i’m in.

SO.... as far as I’m concerned, Trump is the ONLY man with thumbs up or thumbs down authority on the future of the GOP.

If he were to ask me though, I would say if your ever GOING to start a new party, NOW is the best and ONLY time.
I also think he would be better off starting the new party.

The GOPe is dying, they are retiring. They see the handwriting on the wall that the voters don’t want them anymore.

Flake left because his approval rating amongst Republicans was at 15%.

Reforming the GOP and starting a new party have both been tried before, without success. What makes both now possible is President Trump himself. He’s the Wild Card, the Ace of Hearts
