I don't know anything about some rugs photoshoot. But do you really think it would take priority over the national security and safety of the president and first family? Dream on. It could have been a ruse or red herring too.

Ever hear of aerial refueling? The "doomsday" planes (there are 4 of them) are designed to be refueled on the fly by KC-135s. They, by definition, need to stay in the air indefinitely if necessary. These planes have full crews of 112+ people and can sleep the same amount. There are contingency pilots aboard at all times.

You may be right but your lack of knowledge, at least about the refueling stops and crew changes, make me believe you don't have all your facts straight.
