BS. Trump was a major force beating himself, aided by a herd of bots and idiots (e.g., Q morons and “Trump can do no wrong” sycophants). His twittering, lack of civility and humility didn’t sit well with a lot of folks, unfortunately, to an extent that overshadowed his many accomplishments. He should have wiped the floor with Biden so that voting fraud wouldn’t have mattered. Simply put, Trump lost to the worst candidate in this nation’s history because of very bad personnel choices coupled with the fact that he couldn’t or wouldn’t make some minor behavioral adjustments.

On the contrary. It’s the weakness of these Never Trump voters who are susceptible to your nonsensical arguments that cost the GOP.

Trump fights like a Democrat and that drives the “thank you sir may I have another” surrender caucus wing of the GOP base crazy. These are weak people and prone to surrender. They are the reason conservativism hasn’t advanced since Reagan. Trump arrived on the scene and showed them how to win. Instead, they would rather lose and live in Democrat chains. Sadly, really.

So you think that voters should vote on substance, and not on how sharp the candidate's trouser crease's are, or how snarky the candidate's Tweets are?

I agree.

But many millions of voters do not. And throwing away their votes for whatever trivial, and fleeting, satisfaction Trump gets from insulting others was not wise.

"But that is just who Trump is. If he didn't fight like that he wouldn't have won in 2016."

OK. I do not disagree. But he needed to get it under control to win in 2020. It is a humiliation for him, and a disaster for the Nation, that Trump did not learn anything about Greek Tragedy at Fordham. If the concepts 'hubris' and 'nemesis' had been running through his thoughts the last four years, he would be preparing to for his second inauguration.
