It looks to me like Babbit was shot by a congressman.

I'd read that, too. Whoever it was was somewhat hidden in a side door and blasted the first thing he saw at the window. I hope this is followed up and either proven or disproven.

At some point, the Babbit family is going to take this to court. The shooter will be identified by then.

Possibly the Babbit family and/or lawyer already knows who it is, but is keeping it under wraps for now.
