To All:

Considering the times which we are in, and the extreme hate by the left, I wonder if it would be possible to wipe our posting history clean in the forum.

It may become quite prudent..

I was going to just send an email to Jim about this, but I am hoping to get more input from the forum.

I know I’ve said some inflammatory things during these past few months post election - and while I still hold those feelings I do not wish to somehow stand a show trial for having expressed those opinions.

The left had their Reichstag fire - I think we in here should not allow them to cherry pick items from our history.

This would be an interesting test: Find a FR post of yours that has been deleted by the moderators. Then check to see if Google has it in its undeleted form.

Awhile back I posted a Getty image here. Turns out that’s a no-no. A moderator yelled at me (and rightly so), and my post got deleted. Tomorrow I’m going to see if I can find that old post.

Can I scare you for a second. For security- We use a bot for new applicants and check their known email addresses beginning with the ones listed on the resume against many sites to see what they have used it to register for or to sign on with. It is easy to check company email addresses as well. This is SOP and helps build a profile of the individuals before they are employed. When you provide this “contact” information to your current or future employers beware. And unless you use a throw-away email for every site you have probably already been scanned. This is a new standard for many HR depts...

But if it ever got to the point that people like ourselves were being rounded up and made to stand trial for exercising our 1A rights on this board, you'd be one of the guys boxing ammunition or digging trenches, wouldn't you? Not cowering in your closet, waiting for the inevitable knock on your apartment door at 3 a.m.?

VPN is used on a computer to “hide” your real IP from those who want to see where you’ve been.
They can be broken if somebody big/bad enough wants to.

Even if Jim set Greek fire to the whole site tomorrow, every post will still be floating out there, somewhere.

A few times, Apple went to the wall to protect the privacy of a user, from the feds, even though they were terrible people.
