I think they are probably too smart for confiscation any time soon, it’s one of the few things that people will possibly fight about now.
My prediction for their gun plan is they will just keep things going down the cultural slope like it has been for the last 100+ years, while keeping everyone fat and entertained. There is no confiscation for a very long time. They pass their legislation against importation, manufacturing and new purchases and wait for the guns to be turned in or registered as required as the decades roll on and on and the generations pass. Eventually nobody will bother to get off the virtual reality couch when they do come pick up great grandpa’s dusty guns.

America's well-being would be even more seriously threatened if they are that stupid. I can only pray they are not. It will be more regulation and taxation to discourage gun ownership and manufacture/sales. Only the SCOTUS stands in their way, not a comforting thought,
