Allowing the GOP to infiltrate a new party poses a disaster similar to ex-patriated Californios bringing their politics and ideas into Texas.
I appreciate what you’re saying. However, setting up criteria to exclude people from the party could be problematic. Its really up to the voters to weed out the those who try to worm their way into the new party and run for office.
I think the GOP has already jumped the shark. Those who abandon ship early on might be worth rescuing. That said, I don’t think we want to embrace those who want to sail on with the USS RINO until it sinks.
