Canadian grays wolves were introduced into Yellowstone where they never were before. They are about 50% bigger than the native species was.
Most people have no knowledge that there are different species of wolves so it was easy to fool the public on this.
Between them and the overpopulated grizzlies, there are no elk herds viable today in the area.
I hate them both.
