I am on board with giving up on the Republican Party. The entrenched power of the party establishment is too strong. Fighting primary-by-primary entails a few successes and many failures.

But I'd like to see more discussion about whether to start a new party or to move into the existing Constitution Party. It's very minor at this point, having been on the ballot in only 18 states last year. Still, that's an 18-state head start.

The positions on the party's website – http://www.constitutionparty.com/ – seem sound. I don't know much else about the party, though, so I'd welcome other peoples' thoughts.

“so I’d welcome other peoples’ thoughts.”
I’m all for a new party, however at 76 I won’t see it come to reality in my lifetime.
