The building was "stormed" in short order and these laptops taken.

of course there was a ‘mission’. To peacefully protest and cheer on their representatives who were expected to agressively debate the question of the day - can the certification be delayed at the request of those certain states doing the requesting, so they have time to investigate further with ample time until Jan 20th ?
What needs to be pieced together is a timeline. What time was it when the protestors fought with the Capitol Police over the barracades in relation to Trump’s speech? When was teargas deployed at in what area? When was the breech of the capitol doors? Where was the main crowd in relation to the above? Still listening to Trump? Still walking? We’ve seen clips of all the above, but no timeline.
