I think quite a few will leave rather than face a primary defeat.
Once the Uniparty proved in 2020 that they could rig an election and get away with it, there's no reason for them to keep any of these politicians around, especially the ones who asked for high value bribes. They can all be replaced by low budget actors and actresses who'll accept bribes of far less value.
On the flip side, once they're in and agree to ask for far less in illegal payoffs than their predecessor, they're likely to stick around forever. There are a lot of campaigns throughout the country where candidates continually run unopposed. Term limits are the only thing that make it less obvious.
